Prevention magazine

Teri is on the cover of the June issue of Prevention magazine.

“This guy came up to me and said, ‘Do I know you?’ He seemed nice,” Hatcher, 46, describes how she met a guy recently. “We talked. So he walked away and my girlfriend goes, ‘Should I see if he’s single?’ I go, ‘Yes.’ She runs over, gets his card. We went on a date, didn’t work out. Fine.”

“The point is, I’m actively trying in a different way,” she continues. “Since then, I’ve gone on a date with a very attractive man and it was a terrific example of me manifesting this conscious change and taking responsibility for why I may have unconsciously been keeping relationships at bay. By no means am I in [a relationship], but I have three guys calling at the moment, and that’s different from before.”

I read the beautiful interview with Teri that shows her to be a genuine person, with the same challenges that we all face, despite the erroneous idea some folks have that celebrities are somehow a different species:)She seems to handle her experiences with grace. I love that she is so open about what she (as an independent, successful woman) desires in a relationship. Can I ever relate to that?!

She spoke about doing work in women’s shelters. I have a friend named Terry Grahl with whom she may want to connect who has an established organization called Enchanted Makeovers. They help renovate and re-decorate shelters and do makeovers for the women who stay there. I was blessed to be the dinner speaker at an event they did last October in Jersey City, NJ. http://www.enchantedmakeovers.org

Blissings,
