Teri reveals Housewives gay twist

Teri Hatcher has revealed that Wisteria Lane is set to welcome a set of gay neighbours – who her character Susan ends up clashing with. “Susan doesn’t get off to the best start with them,” the actress told Hollywood Extra. But while her character will encounter a few problems when the fourth season of the show starts in September, the actress has been enjoying this summer’s break from filming, especially spending time with daughter Emerson Rose. “I’ve been actually working out a lot!” she added. “See my little muscles? And I feel good to dress like this so that’s a good thing.” Extra also reports that Eva Longoria’s character Gabrielle may be in for a rough ride with her new husband Victor, played by John Slattery. “All I know about what’s coming up is that the darker side of Victor will become more readily apparent,” John said. It looks like suburbia will be as full of drama as ever…

Teri Hatcher: From Housewife to Haute Couture!

ET breaks the news that the very hot TERI HATCHER is going haute — and more — as the face of BADGLEY MISCHKA for the designers’ upcoming campaign to be featured in September fashion and lifestyle magazines. The hook-up between the “Desperate Housewives” star and MARK BADGLEY and JAMES MISCHKA is a natural one that goes back to her very first appearance on a red carpet.”Back in the ‘Lois & Clark’ days, the first time I went to the Emmys … the first gown I ever wore on a red carpet was a Badgley Mischka gown,” she tells ET’s KEVIN FRAZIER, who was exclusively at her photo shoot. “It was a really big hit. It was a big moment for me, and it was a big moment for them. We have this history together.”Since then, of course, Badgley Mischka has dressed a plethora of stars for those all-so-important, red-carpet moments, but this ad campaign is aimed at promoting much more than their line of haute couture. Badgley Mischka has expanded and, these days, they have branched out into sportswear, eyewear, handbags, jewelry, belts, cold weather accessories, fragrance and bridal.”To take a piece — whether it is something from sunglasses to … they have this fabulous handbag that I just saw this morning and said, ‘This is the greatest handbag ever.’ Those kinds of little things, like a new pair of shoes, can change your whole day,” Teri expounds on why women should indulge. “It can change the whole energy of your mood. That can be when you are dropping your kids off at school or not.”You can see the video here.
